Pressure Grouting
Innovative Drilling’s on-site expertise is available for technically challenging pressure grouting projects. The company also has a number of machines with varying flows and pressure capacities of up to 600 psi.
Pressure Grouting at the Lower Great Brook spill way on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
Using a packer to expand out and seal the hole, Innovative Drilling pumped grout into the Lower Great Brook spill way on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
Innovative Drilling's remote grouting station is heated, has zippered openings, and is easy to move due to its skid base.
Case study – U.S. Gypsum had a problem at their Point Tupper Wallboard Plant in 1997; their chemical reservoir was leaking because of breaches in the sheet pile seal. Innovative Drilling found the leaks and plugged them with grout. First, they drilled spaced holes above the flow from the breaches in the sheet pile wall. Then, an external flushing device in the drill tools released liquid grouts. These cement-like grouts were carried by the fluid flow directly to the leaks in the sheet pile wall. Once they reached the leaks, the grouts formed a seal to prevent further seepage.
